The James Carter Organ Trio @COTTON CLUB

2月生まれのバースデイ招待をいただいたので、

COTTON CLUBに、The James Carter Organ Trioのライブに行ってきました。

COTTON CLUBへ行くのが数年ぶり、そして、Jazzも久しぶり。

Trioは、

James Carter (sax),

Gerard Gibbs (Hammond B3,key), 

Leonard King (ds)

の3人。

スタンダードなジャズかと思いきや、とてもパワフル。

ベーシストは、オルガンが代わりに担当していて重厚なサウンド。

saxがすごく力強くて、dsはヒッピーな、歌も歌える。。（見た目なだけです）

Hammondオルガンが一番好きな感じでした。

圧倒のステージは、今日明日両方あるみたいです。

The COTTON CLUB in Tokyo has fabulous live performances everyday.

This month, they invited me a live as a birthday gift.

James Carter and his trio played powerful and aggressive live performance today.

The trio member is James Carter (sax), Gerard Gibbs (Hammond B3,key),  Leonard King (ds)

They don't have any Bassist in their band, though, they are playing heavy-hitting performance.

Sax is very strong, Drums can sing, my favorite was Hammond Organ.

It reminds me of the gospel sing that I met in NY.

They play today and tomorrow.
